02. LORD EDGWARE DIES: Poirot is introduced to a famous actress and agrees to visit her estranged husband, Lord Edgware, to urge him to reconsider her request for a divorce. After insisting that he has already agreed to Jane's request, the old man is found murdered.

SERIES 8:
01. MURDER IN MESOPOTAMIA: The wife of a renowned archaeologist is murdered during the excavation of an ancient site. Hercule Poirot is on the scene and investigates the characters involved in the dig, with the help of Captain Hastings.

02. EVIL UNDER THE SUN: A beautiful young bride is found strangled on the beach while Hercule Poirot is on holiday in Devon. The murder appears to be a crime of passion, but Poirot soon finds himself in the midst of something far more sinister.
