The way is a duo formed by soprano player Joe Giarrdullo and percussionist Andrea Centazzo. The duo did an east coast tour in 2009 and recorded this CD live at the K.J Art Center in Woodstock 11/20/09. Joe Giardullo is one of the under-recognized heroes of the soprano sax and after a handful of fine discs a few years back, he hasn't had many new CD's in the last few years, just two on Clean Feed & Rogue Art. Italian percussion master Andrea Centazzo runs his own Ictus label and has dozens of discs out with a wide variety of collaborators going back to the early seventies. Both volumes of this duo were recorded live at the former Creative Music studio in Woodstock, NY. Only the second volume is currently available from our distributor.
