This set is a gem of live recordings from '53-'82, totaling over 4 hours of previously unissued audio and video footage. With over 90 live performances, most of them officially available for the first time, this globe-trotting set showcases the magic of Sinatra in eight different countries. Sinatra was a proud American, but the U.S. wasn't big enough to contain a star of his magnitude. This new set follows his globetrotting triumphs as you hear 4 CDs of his crowd-thrilling performances in Monte Carlo, Italy, Australia, Egypt, and the Dominican Republic. The DVD takes us to Hibya Park, Japan, in '62 to watch the Chairman of the Board dazzle and delight with "Too Marvelous for Words," "Without a Song," "Chicago," "In the Still of the Night," "Imagination," "My Funny Valentine" and more. You'll also see the documentaries Frank Sinatra with All God's Children and Sinatra in Israel plus 12 song-filled commercials he made for the Perugina candy company. Everything on the DVD is previously unreleased, and the booklet shares reminiscences from Bill Miller, Al Viola, the late Frank Sinatra Jr. And Sinatra's longtime production manager Hank Cattaneo. Frank's life was a journey like no other, and so is this international tour of his on-stage triumphs!
